Night of New Plays Festival
at the Second Friday ArtAbout

Friday July 11, 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.
In the courtyard behind the Pence Gallery, 212 D Street, Davis.

Our annual Night of New Plays Festival introduces new works to the community. For the second year, we're partnering with the Pence Gallery to present the Festival during the Second Friday ArtAbout in Downtown Davis.

The evening will begin at 7:00 p.m. with the preview of a scene from Pinky, written by David Templeton. Pinky is a charmingly odd comedy about love, friendship, and other role-playing games. Barnyard Theatre will be staging Pinky at the end of July at the historic Schmeiser Barn.

The second reading will be Your Nose, written by Tatiana Ray and offering a peek into the world of a professional princess. It will be followed by A Pail Full of Water, a tale of an unlikely sisterhood by Samantha Ricci.

The evening will conclude with a performance by Barnyard Theatre’s Improv Acting Workshop, led by Kane Chai.

The Night of New Plays Festival is free, though donations are accepted, and light refreshments will be available.
